Data protection notices
Under Article 13 of the Federal Constitution and in accordance with data protection legislation, every person has the right to privacy in their private life and the right to be protected against the misuse of their personal data. The Cour des comptes respects the legal provisions governing data protection, confidentiality and the dissemination of information under Swiss law. The Cour des comptes handles all reports received confidentially and in compliance with legal requirements. The data is stored in Switzerland. The platform provider has no access rights to the encrypted data.
Under the Cantonal Act on Public Information and Access to Documents (LIPAD) of 5 October 2001, the documents generated by the Cour des comptes that are publicly accessible are the reports based on its audits, its annual report and the attachments thereto. These reports are posted on the Cour des comptes website. The Cour des comptes may also publish its summary investigations rendered anonymous according to the public interest they represent. These letters are then posted on the Cour des comptes website. All other documents held by the Cour des comptes fall under the exceptions defined in Article 26 of the LIPAD and as such, are not publicly accessible.
