Article 28 of the Law on State Supervision guarantees the confidentiality of the identity of persons who apply to the Court, and the information gathered is strictly secret, by virtue of the oath taken by magistrates after their election (art. 21 para. 1 LSurv) and by staff members when they are hired (art. 4 para. 1 of the Law on the Taking of Oaths). Only the criminal authorities may - by express decision - access information held by the Court.
