Reporting an incident to FINMA or filing a complaint

Do you suspect institutions supervised by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA of breaches of regulations or other irregularities and do you have an inside perspective of the institution concerned (e.g. as an employee, body or agent)? You can report this to FINMA in writing on this external whistleblowing platform.

Any specific information you have can be important in enabling FINMA to take action against such irregularities and breaches of regulations. The data are conveyed to FINMA in encrypted form via the secured external whistleblowing platform. Reports cannot be backtraced technically. It is also up to you to decide whether you wish to disclose details about your person or contact FINMA anonymously. However, we wish to draw your attention to the fact that submitting a report to FINMA as the supervisory authority can potentially entail risks under criminal law (further information can be found in the FAQs).

Please note that client complaints and general enquiries cannot be processed via this system. Other channels are available to you for such matters and can be found directly on the FINMA website (further information can be found in the FAQs).
