We want to protect la Mobilière’s reputation

La Mobilière boasts an excellent reputation, and we have our employees to thank for that. They convey our values to customers and are the face of la Mobilière. We want to protect this reputation.

Michèle Rodoni, CEO
"Our integrity helps to build trust, peace of mind and transparency. Our mission statement, plus our core values and code of conduct provide the cornerstone for us to act decently and with integrity. I expect you to abide by them. If you come across errors or wrongdoing, please report them and give us the chance to protect la Mobilière’s reputation and its employees. Thank you for your continuing loyalty and hard work for la Mobilière."

To safeguard la Mobilière’s integrity and avoid any potential damage, as well as minimising risks, our intention is to learn about any infringements of the rules, compliance breaches, corporate crime and other wrongdoing.

Firstly, we want to learn from our mistakes and use them as an opportunity to do better. That can only work if wrongdoing is seen and reported and if we own up to our mistakes. If we do so, we can keep our employees and la Mobilière out of harm’s way.

Secondly, we want to resolutely root out any behaviour that could be regarded as criminal. We want to act fairly vis-à-vis employees who are accused of improper conduct.

By using the Compliance Whistleblowing Portal, you can address critical issues or make observations openly and without fear of reprisal – even anonymously if you so wish. Employees reporting in good faith real or suspected cases of wrongdoing do not need to worry about potentially negative consequences. "In good faith" means that the person filing the report is convinced that they are telling the truth, irrespective of whether or not a subsequent review of their portrayal of the situation confirms this. This system should not be abused by consciously making false or slanderous reports or claims.

Reports received via the system are treated in the strictest confidence.

Exactly as before, the previous options for reporting critical issues or wrongdoing remain open to you. You still have the option of talking to your line manager, the management team, Human Development or the Group Compliance Office.
